UN Students Norway (UNSA Norway) is pleased to announce several new opportunities for engagement within the organisation. As a national, student-led association committed to multilateralism, international cooperation, and the values of the United Nations, UNSA Norway relies on the dedication and initiative of its members. We are therefore inviting motivated students to apply for a range of positions across teams, committees, and the national board.

These positions offer a valuable opportunity to contribute meaningfully to UNSA Norway’s activities, to gain organisational and leadership experience, and to engage with like-minded individuals who share a commitment to global affairs.

Open Positions Overview

At present, applications are open for the following roles:

Model United Nations Team
Marketing Team
National Election Committee
Second Vice President (2nd VP) of the National Board

Model United Nations Team

The Model United Nations (MUN) Team of UNSA Norway plays a vital role in the planning and execution of the upcoming National Model United Nations Conference, scheduled to take place in April. Working in close cooperation with the Project Manager, the team contributes to the academic, organisational, and logistical development of the conference.

Members of the MUN Team will be involved in shaping the substantive content of the conference, coordinating practical arrangements, and ensuring a high-quality experience for all participants. This role is particularly well suited to students with an interest in diplomacy, international relations, and event organisation, as well as those seeking hands-on experience in conference planning.

Marketing Team

The Marketing Team is responsible for UNSA Norway’s external communication and public engagement. Led by the PR Manager of UNSA Norway, the team works to develop and maintain a coherent, strategic, and engaging presence across the organisation’s digital platforms.

Team members will contribute to content creation, campaign development, and the overall communication strategy of UNSA Norway. This includes promoting events, initiatives, and organisational values to a broader audience. The Marketing Team is ideal for students with an interest in communication, media, design, or strategic outreach, who wish to strengthen the visibility and impact of UNSA Norway.

National Election Committee

The National Election Committee will play a pivotal role in the election of the National Board for the 2026–2027 term. Acting on behalf of UNSA Norway’s National Board, the committee is responsible for ensuring that the electoral process is transparent, fair, and conducted in accordance with the organisation’s statutes.

Members of the committee will oversee nominations, prepare electoral procedures, and contribute to the integrity of one of the most important democratic processes within the organisation. This role is particularly suited to individuals with a strong sense of responsibility, organisational skills, and an interest in internal governance.

Second Vice President of the National Board

UNSA Norway is also seeking applications for the position of Second Vice President of the National Board. This is a senior leadership role within the organisation, involving close collaboration with the President, First Vice President, and the rest of the National Board.

The Second Vice President contributes to the strategic direction of UNSA Norway, supports the coordination of national activities, and represents the organisation internally and externally when required. Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, organisational competence, and a clear motivation to contribute to the long-term development of UNSA Norway.

Applications for the position of Second Vice President of the National Board must be submitted via email and should include:
