The National and Central Board

The National Board is the elected highest leadership body of UN Students Norway, holding overarching strategic and operational responsibility for the organisation. It serves as the primary coordinating link between all local chapters, ensures that decisions from the General Assembly are implemented, and acts as the organisation’s official representative both nationally and internationally. Comprised of dedicated student volunteers, the National Board works collaboratively to guide the organisation in accordance with its values and mission.

The Central Board functions as UN Students Norway’s primary strategic and democratic advisory body, bringing together the National Board and the leaders of each local chapter. This structure ensures national coordination while preserving local representation. The Central Board is responsible for establishing overarching policies, strategies, and budgets, and its binding decisions provide a shared direction for the entire UNSAN network, uniting local and national efforts toward common goals.
