General Assembly 2026

The National Board of the United Nations Student Association of Norway is pleased to announce that the General Assembly will take place on he 18th of April 2026 in Oslo.

Delegates and Observers

In accordance with §15 of the Articles of Association, the General Assembly is the organisation’s highest decision-making body. As outlined in our bylaws, all elected delegates have a duty to attend and hold the right to speak, propose, and vote, while the observers have the right to speak and propose.

Submission of Amendments and Proposals

According to §15.6.2, proposals must be submitted no later than 14 days prior to the General Assembly.

Documents and Agenda

Floor Nominations

Floor nominations must be submitted by 8 April 2026 to: election@fn-studentene.no. Nominations must include a brief justification of the candidate’s suitability. Candidates nominated in advance will be included in a published list one week prior to the General Assembly. Only candidates who have applied or are part of the National Board may be nominated for filled positions, while vacant positions remain open to all members. Candidates nominated from the floor will be given up to two minutes to present themselves. No individual may hold more than one position simultaneously.
